It was a beautiful, and spiritual country. The mountain scenery is like nothing we’ve ever (and probably will ever!) seen before. Despite being a city lover, I actually love mountains, beaches, sunrises and sunsets.

We would definitely like to come back and do Everest Base Camp. Maybe when the kids go to Uni, we’ll do another trip just us. I’ll be 55, it’ll be a breeze, haha!

How are we rolling along together?

The kids have both said at various points that they are missing home, our house and home comforts. Which is totally understandable. We are all having our moments but we try to give each other space or whatever it is they may need.

We have done a lot of family rooms so it’s hard for T and I to get much space to spend together. Maybe that’s not a bad thing LOL.

Homeschool

We’ve taken the pressure off a bit. We did lots of time trekking, the rafting etc.

I’ve still tended to do local information eg Everest, how are mountains formed.

Less of the formal maths/ English

Also, lots of school of life still going on! They’ll often ask questions then we look it up.

I’ve ordered some curriculum books for both of them to be in Japan when we get there. That will help hugely as it just works through English and maths curriculum for them. It’s often easier to use a physical book. Especially when we places eg an airport.

Finally, I’m really beginning to hate my clothes, haha! The same thing everyday until it stinks! Very middle class issue
