Friday 4th August
God, there was a misunderstanding with Agustino. T and I are convinced he said 4.40. But we showed up and he wasnt there. When he came, he said no I said 5.40. I think its just one of those misunderstandings. Yikes. So so tired!

It’s famous for being quite small, so you can see loads of animals in a small space.

We had a nice time – didn’t see a huge amount. We saw a black rhino but really far away. Looks exactly like a water buffalo! A lion, hyenas, zebras and loads of hippos which are really cool. Beautiful place.

Ts spirit animal, the pumba 👇

Socks and sandals, I don’t even care any more!

Got back about 2pm. We all napped in the truck on the way home. Then chilled in the afternoon. We’ve sacked off home school on safari! We finished Cs maths curriculum so we are slowing it down a bit.

Saturday 5th August

Final day travel to Moshe. It takes around 5 hours. We are staying outside of the city in a home stay, in Shimbwe.

We didn’t realise just how remote this village is. Good lord it was one giant mud road up and down a mountain. Luckily we were in a 4 x 4 but even Agostino looked at the impending rain and questioned if he would be able to get back!

Kids had an amazing play.
